As a member of the Board of Directors, I recently affirmed my willingness to fund an in-depth professional business evaluation of The Land Conservancy. My documented statement to this effect is repeated at the bottom of this page for your review.

As an organization entrusted to acquire and administer public lands and heritage properties, I strongly believe The Land Conservancy should periodically undergo a professional evaluation of how it conducts all facets of its business, just as many other business entities routinely carry out. None of us is without possible improvement, and this tool can act as a guide to identify the most efficient and effective methods to accomplish the organization’s mission.

My pledge - "While a TLC Director and member of the Finance Committee, I offer to fund up to $20,000 in the form of a tax-deductible donation for a professional evaluation of the current business operation of TLC. The evaluation will have the freedom to observe and comment on any TLC business-related area”.
